Helambu Trekking is one another popular trekking trails in the Langtang region. This region is located at the north-east of Kathmandu, easily accessible on foot. This trekking region is most loved and demanded among clients of Mount Fuji Adventure, because while having trekking in this region, you will have chance to have scenic views of unique landscapes, beautiful village of Sherpa and Hyolmo ethnic communities, Buddhist Monasteries amidst with dense Rhododendron forest, animals and birds which are in the verge of extinction. Moreover you are amused of local traditional cultures, their warm hospitality, innocent smiles, unique dances and songs performed in order to welcome you in their local village. This trekking includes the trip to the remote and spectacular valley and high Mountain Lake called Gosaignkunda.

Helambu treks is considered to be relatively low altitude and a short trek, because the trekking mostly revolves at the lowest altitude 3,600m and the highest point is Tharepati La pass (3600m). Although the trail revolves mostly around low altitude area, it is famous for superb sceneries of the white-mountains including of Jugal Himal, Gauri Shankar, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and other mountains lying along the areas. This destination is convenient easily and is considered to be a short trekking. There are two routes for beginning of trekking to Helambu. One trail begins from Sundarijal and another begins from Syabru Bensi. Either that be from Sundarijal or Syabrubesi, the trail then continues through jungle along the holy lake Gosaikunda and finally reaches at Helambu in Nepal. After making excursion to the area and enjoying the cultural blend of diverse ethnic people residing in the area, you will return to the place called Chisapani and subsequently return back to Kathmandu.

Day 16: Departure
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
As soon as you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will complete the visa formalities after which you will be escorted by our representative to the luxury hotel where you will enjoy the welcome dinner and stay overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu. You will be briefed about Helambu trekking package by our team leader. You will also meet with other trekking members.
 
Day 02: Drive to Syabru Besi
Syabrubesi is the beginning point for Helambu Treks.  We will cover 117km in 9hrs to reach Syabrubesi. The trail progresses through Trishuli River and Dhunche to Syabru Bazaar. We will stay overnight at a lodge in Syabru Besi Bazaar.

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel
We will walk across mineral water factory to Ghatte Khola. Crossing the suspension bridge over Ghatte Khola, we will walk past the forest of oak and pine to Buddhist monastery named Sing Gompa. We will visit cheese factory and lower down to arrive at trail that is opposite to the Hotel Village View. Crossing the suspension bridge over Bhote Koshi River, we will take escalating trail to Thulo Syabru. We will reach the bridge over Langtang Khola and walk to six hotels in Changtang which is known as Lama Hotel (2480m).

Day 04: Trek to Langtang Valley
The trail continues through the forest of maples, rhododendron, pine and oak. Exiting from the forest, we will arrive at Gumanchok. Walking further, we will reach Ghora Tabela. Descending from Thangshyap, we will reach Langtang Village.

Day 05: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa
We will follow the narrow path that swirls through small villages at Sindum and Yamphu. We will arrive at Laja Khola. We need to cross Laja Khola to reach view point from where we can get views of Kyangjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung. Finally, we will descend to Kyanjin Gompa.   

Day 06: Trek to Dalai Hotel
We will retrace our route back and cross Langtang Khola over the suspension bridge to reach Langtang village. We will enter Ghora Tabela and then lower down to Dalai Hotel where we will stay overnight.

Day 07: Trek to Thulo Syabru
We will cross few Sherpa and Tamang villages and walk over green hills. The trail lowers down after 3hrs of trek. We will reach Syabru Besi(1600m) from where we will reach Thulo Syabru and move ahead to Sing Gompa.

Day 08: Trek to Sing Gompa
We will cross Dursagang to reach a viewpoint. From the summit of ridge, we will climb the forest of oak, fir and hemlock forests and reach Sing Gompa which is a Buddhist monastery. Time permitting, we will visit Yak cheese Factory.

Day 09: Trek to Gosainkunda Lake
We will take difficult ascend of Laure Binayak Pass. The trail tapers through the misty track. There will be change in vegetation. We will reach Gosainkunda after about 3hrs of trek.

Day 10: Trek to Ghopte
The trail lowers down for about 2 and half hour and reaches the ridge at 4500m. We will lower down from the ridge and reach Ghopte after 3hrs of trek where we will stay overnight.

Day 11: Trek to Tharepati
Early in the morning, we will pass through the pine and juniper forest to hit the slope. We will climb up through the slope for about 2 hours to finally make it to Tharepati where we will stay overnight.


Day 12: Trek to Melamchi
Lowering down from the forest of spruce and rhododendron, we will reach Melamchi. We can view Melamchi Khola from Melamchi Village as Melamchi River exists just below the village.

Day 13: Trek to Tarke Gyang
We will take the descending trail from Melamchi Village to Melamchi Khola and then take a brief climb to Tarkegyang that exists on the other side of valley. There exists 18th century Gompa with huge prayer wheel of brass in Tarkegyang.

Day 14: Trek to Sermathang
We will follow the easy trail to Sermathang which is village of Sherpa ethnics. We can get views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Rolwaling, Gosainkunda and Everest from Sermathang on a clear day.

Day 15:  Back to Melamchi and then to Kathmandu
We will reach Melamchi Pul and drive back to Kathmandu. Chabahil Bus stop in Kathmandu is 59.2km far from Melamchi. We can reach Chabahail from Melamchi after about2hrs of drive.

Day 16: Departure
This is the end day of Helambu trekking package. You will be assisted in last moment preparation and taken to TIA from where you will board the plane back to your home.
